Bulk Ad Creative Variations for Meta Andromeda: Beat Ad Fatigue With Up to 120 Videos
Bulk export turns one finished batch into many distinct videos by combining clip orders with caption recipes: one video per hook, a lyrics-only version, an overlay-only version and combined versions. A single export job can produce up to 120 variations, which gives Meta the creative diversity it now rewards.

Why variations matter now
Meta ranks ads by how different they are, not only by how well they perform. Ads Manager now shows a Creative diversity rating for each ad set, and the delivery system works better when it has genuinely different concepts to choose from. Creative fatigue is the other side of the same coin: a small set of ads burns out quickly. See ad fatigue and automatic rotation.
How a bulk job works
You finish one batch in the creative generator, then open the bulk tab. The job first creates variants of the batch, either by reordering the clips or by treating each clip as its own variant. These variants are previewed cheaply. Only when you export are they rendered with text, as a matrix of variants times caption recipes.
| Caption recipe | Result |
|---|---|
| One per hook | One video for every hook in your stack |
| Lyrics only | The variant with timed lyric captions |
| Overlay only | The variant with the cover and track overlay |
| Combined | Hook, lyrics and overlay together, as you choose |
Ten clip orders combined with ten hooks therefore give a hundred hook videos, before the lyrics and overlay versions are counted. The export runs in the background, a worker advances every item by one step, and it also runs on a schedule, so you can close the tab.
Making variations that really differ
The matrix works best when the building blocks are different. Use several clips or images with different content, different hooks that state different reasons to listen, and different parts of the song. Changing only a caption color does not count as diversity. The text hook tools are covered in text hooks, lyrics and cover overlays.
Select, then export
You do not have to export everything. Variants can be selected, discarded or cancelled before export, and a running job can be paused. Finished videos are stored in your account so they survive when the source batch is deleted.
Into the campaign
The result is a set of videos grouped by what belongs together, for example one clip with all its hook variants. That grouping maps to flexible ads in Meta, which hold up to 10 videos each. See from creative generator to live Meta campaign for the import, and how automated Meta campaigns work for what happens after launch.
FAQ
How many variations can one export create?
Up to 120 in a single export job.
What is a caption recipe?
A combination of text elements for one video: one hook, lyrics only, overlay only, or a combined version.
Do I have to render all variants?
No. Variants are previewed first and you export only the ones you select.
Can I close the page during export?
Yes. The job runs in the background and a scheduled worker keeps advancing it.
Why does creative diversity matter?
Meta rates the diversity of ads in each ad set and its delivery works better with genuinely different concepts. Small changes such as colors do not count.
