Text Hooks, Lyric Captions and Cover Overlays for Reels and TikTok Music Videos

The Text step has three tabs. Text hook generates relatable hooks from your sound and images and shows them one at a time, Lyrics times captions to the audio, and Overlay burns the cover artwork with track and artist name into the video. Every element can be dragged, resized and styled.

Text hooks

A hook is the line that makes someone keep watching. The generator writes a pool of hooks from the analysis of your sound and the batch images: five for a multi-image batch and eight otherwise. It shows exactly one at a time. You keep it with the check mark or skip it with the cross, and the next one appears. Nothing is added to your list automatically.

Kept hooks form a stack of up to ten. Each hook in the stack is rendered as its own video at the end, which is how one clip becomes ten differently framed ads. When the pool is used up, the next click writes a fresh pool.

Lyrics and captions

The Lyrics tab turns the sung words into timed captions. Transcription is currently tuned for English vocals. You can also write or correct the lyrics yourself and adjust the timing by hand. Captions are burned into the video, so they work in every placement. For vertical formats keep captions inside the safe zone, which matters even more since Meta may place ads outside Reels and Stories, see the value rules workaround.

Cover artwork overlay

The Overlay tab burns the cover artwork with the track name and a smaller artist name underneath into the video. If you imported the snippet from Spotify or TikTok, cover, title and artist are prefilled. Otherwise the line reads out now by default, and you can upload your own square cover. The block can be dragged to any position, and its size scales with a slider.

Style, position and legibility

Each text element has its own font, size, color, outline and shadow, plus presets that include a monospaced style. Drag the text where you want it in the preview. The defaults put the hook in a readable size and position, and the preview shows the real layout. A strong outline or shadow keeps white text readable on bright footage.

Export combinations

At export you can render one video per hook, a lyrics-only version, an overlay-only version, and combined versions. This is the base for the bulk workflow in bulk ad creative variations. For hook ideas that work on short video, see how to market music on TikTok.

FAQ

How many hooks can I keep?

Up to ten. Each hook in the stack is rendered as its own video.

Why does the hook generator show one hook at a time?

So you decide on each one. You keep it or skip it, and nothing is added automatically.

Which languages are supported for lyrics?

Automatic transcription is currently tuned for English vocals. You can write or correct lyrics by hand for any song.

Where does the overlay get the cover and track name?

From the Spotify or TikTok import. Without it, the default line is out now, and you can upload your own square cover.

Can I place the text anywhere?

Yes. Hooks, lyrics and the overlay can be dragged to any position in the preview, with their own style and scale.
